News: Publications >>> Latest Stories:     1 September 2011 Tommy Shown at Art in the Gardens, Sheffield Richard released his latest painting, Tommy at the Art in the Gardens Show in Sheffield.  All profits from the sale of the original and of prints and cards will be donated to the Royal British Legion to help commemorate the Legion's 90th anniversary.   There was considerable interest in the painting and there were steady sales of cards and prints.  Richard has also produced a second version of the painting (Tommy II), which is hanging in Thoresby Gallery in Derbyshire as part of their "Conflict" Open Exhibition.    15 June 2011 Two Paintings selected by Wentworth Jigsaws Two of Richard's paintings, Amalfi Vista and Knaresborough have been chosen by Wentworth Puzzles for inclusion in their range of exclusive wooden jigaws.  Wentworth are the premier jigsaw manufacturer in the UK, making quality puzzles in wood.  Visit their web site for further details >>> .   10 June 2011 New Deal wth VisionArt Galleries Richard has signed a deal with VisionArt Galleries who will use several images of his paintings in their innovative VisionArt TRIO TV system.  Details are on their web site >>>.   9 June 2011 "Winter Sun - Houses of Parliament, London" Patchings Award Richard's painting Winter Sun - Houses of Parliament, London,  was Highly Commended in the Patchings 2011 Art Competition.   The Patchings Art Festival is an annual arts and crafts fair that attracts thousands of visitors to the centre near Nottingham.  The competition is open to both professional and amateur artists and 70 are selected from each group every year for display in the Patchings Art Exhibition.   To view the Patchings web site, click here >>>.   4 January 2011 "Prague at Dusk" featured in Artist & Illustrators Magazine Richard's painting Prague at Dusk,  has been featured in the January 2011 issue of Artists & Ilustrators Magazine.   The magazine is a highly respected, best-selling magazine for professional artists and aspiring amateurs, which has been in print for more than 20 years.  A&I is published 13 times per year.
