Edition Definitions:
General Overview:
Richard Harpum limited edition artwork has been reproduced to the highest possible standards using the latest giclée printing technology. This uses inks which are designed to be light-fast for at least 75 years.
Prints are offered in multiple editions and sizes to suit the requirements and budgets of collectors.
There are three main types of edition:
Open Edition (O/E)
This is a print on paper and can either be mounted or un-mounted. The sizes offered are generally smaller than the original. This is the most affordable of the various editions.
Studio Proof (S/P)
This is a full-sized or smaller giclée print on stretched canvas which has textured brushstrokes added by the artist using the same medium as the original. The artist then signs the front of the canvas and numbers the print. In general, there are 2 different sizes with between 20 and 100 S/Ps being produced in each size of print.
Prints may be framed by arrangement with the artist.
Limited Edition on Paper (L/P)
This is a giclée print on high quality 300 gsm textured paper, mounted and backed with card. Each print is individually hand numbered, signed by the artist and accompanied by an authentication certificate. There are generally 2 or 3 different sizes, ranging from the same size as the original down to approximately A4 size.
Prints may be framed by arrangement with the artist.
